Between the rhythm of everyday life, the desire to please, family imperatives, it is not always easy to know how to take care of yourself. However, it is one of the components of our daily happiness.
Here are the 5 tips we all can follow to do a self care:
Box Breathing
Deep breathing exercises, such as box breathing, also known as square breathing, have been positively associated with all things better sleep, better heart health, mental clarity, reduced anxiety and depression and improved cognitive functions.
The proper technique is to breathe from the stomach, which means that with each inhale, the stomach is very prominent.
Box breathing is one of the best techniques to help with stress management. It makes it possible to combine a recurring and autonomous action of the body (breathing) with the concentration of the mind. It can distract you from the rumination of worries and stressors, and help you synchronize your mental and physical focus.
Step to do the box breathing is easy:
Inhale for a count of 8
Hold for a count of 8
Exhale for a count of 8
Hold for a count of 8
And repeat
If you feel ready, you can increase the number of minutes.

Walk on Grass
Natural walking corresponds to the rolling of the foot from the heel, the sole and then the pulp of the toes. However, in our daily walk, we pass directly from heel to toe. Walking barefoot allows you to find a natural rolling motion of the foot. Some areas are stimulated again and the pressure points perform a kind of massage that gives us a lot of good. Walking barefoot at least 5 minutes a day is a simple practice within everyone's reach.
Thousands of nerve endings are found under the foot. Because of our shoes, they are almost never activated and above all they are charged with positive ions, electrical particles responsible for fatigue . This is what you feel when you walk for a long time, for example. When these nerve endings are in direct contact with the ground, they discharge excess ions and again circulate energy in the body like the principle of foot reflexology. Blockages due to stress, anxiety and tension are reduced. The nervous system is strengthened and the signs of depression are removed.

Power Nap
It is well known that sleep is essential for maintaining mental and physical health. We also know that it is often difficult to get enough sleep at night. Short naps can increase your energy levels, productivity, creativity and alertness, says MacFarlane. Frequent 30-minute naps in the afternoon can even reduce your need for sleep by an hour at night. For shift workers, for example, strategic naps can be very helpful. Luckily, everyone can benefit from power naps.

Write Your Thoughts
It’s not about planning your day. Yes, that is the best thing you can do, but before you can do a thing, have access to pen and paper and write down all your thoughts that are running in your mind, whatever it is, just write it down. Don’t think that you have to read it again, you are just putting your thoughts in the paper to give your mind a space and keeping it free from stress and useless thoughts that are running. This will surely help you in bringing new positive thoughts.

Practice Visualization
Do you remember what we used to do in childhood just imagining anything, that we will be having this and what if we do this we will have this. So, you do that same thing now, think of all the things you want. It’s a fact that what you think you are attracting it towards you
Just close your eyes and think about things you love, you want to have. It feels much better by cutting off from the world and being in your own imaginary world.

We all can do it on our weekends and have a good self care routine because self care is not for only rich, everyone have a right on it.
